Our Story
Loamaura began with a simple belief: that the objects we live with every day should be both beautiful and meaningful. Founded by a husband and wife team, our small, family-run studio grew from a deeply personal place — shaped by love, loss, and the desire to create a life rooted in presence.
Nicole, a fourth-generation Montanan, was moved to start curating handcrafted goods after the passing of her mother, an experience that redefined her understanding of time and intention. What began as a search for purpose turned into a quiet, powerful calling: to build something lasting with her hands and heart.
In the early years, Thomas supported the vision behind the scenes while growing a career in technology and logistics — skills that would later become invaluable. As Loamaura evolved and the demands of the studio grew, he rejoined full-time, helping to scale the business while preserving its deeply personal essence.
Originally known as Connected Goods, our journey has been one of steady refinement — guided by community, craftsmanship, and clarity of purpose. Today, as Loamaura, we remain devoted to creating homewares that marry function with form, tradition with modern simplicity.
Every piece we offer is chosen with care and made to be lived with — to serve, to ground, and to bring quiet beauty into the rhythm of daily life.
